The Agency Innovative Development of Uzbekistan (AID) and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) met to discuss the terms of the Innovation Cooperation Program. This was reported by the Innovative Development Agency under the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation on February 3.
Deputy Minister Shahlo Turdigulova presented proposals for cooperation between the representative office of KOICA and the Ministry on the Transformation of Scientific and Research Institutions, the introduction of "smart" technologies in innovative regions, and the establishment of mutual cooperation in the fields of medicine and biotechnology.
Pak Sonjin, the head of the representative office of the Korea International Cooperation Agency KOICA in Uzbekistan agreed to cooperate with Uzbekistan within the framework of the Innovation Cooperation Program (IPS) on the involvement of expert consultants, as well as on the modernization of the national startup ecosystem of Uzbekistan.
