Uzbek president ordered Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Kochkarov, Minister of Poverty Alleviation and Employment Behzod Musayev, and Khokim of Namangan Region Shavkat Abdurazzokov to develop and submit the "roadmap" for the transformation of the region into an "unemployment-free region" by dividing the employment program for 500,000 people per week.
Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Kochkarov and Minister of Agriculture Aziz Voitov, along with sector leaders and assistant governors, were instructed to create 67 thousand of permanent and 135 thousand seasonal jobs on 9.5 thousand hectares to be allocated in 2023.
Minister of Poverty Alleviation and Employment Behzod Musayev and Minister of Economy and Finance Sherzod Qudbiyev will have to work with governors and banks to create 176,000 jobs in the service sector.
Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjayev and Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Gudratov have to launch 1,000 projects worth 1 billion dollars in the region and create 45,000 new jobs.
The head of the Federation of Trade Unions, Qudratilla Rafikov, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Zulayho Mahkamova, will be training women in professions, and find jobs within a month.
The Minister of Economy and Finance Sherzod Qudbiyev together with the Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova ordered to allocate of an additional subsidy of 50 billion soums to the region for the development of private kindergartens in preschool education in 2023.
Minister of Youth Policy and Sports Adham Ikramov and First Deputy Minister of Youth Policy and Sports - Director of the Youth Affairs Agency Alisher Sadullayev was assigned to work with 20,000 Namangan youth who will enter the labour market in 2023.
The Namangan region plan:
- Helping 23,000 young people in the region through the "Youth Registry";
- Granting loans to 8,500 people and making them entrepreneurs;
- Allocation of land for farming to 25,000 people;
- It is necessary to place 16 thousand of people in vacant jobs.
