The General Prosecutor's Office reported that a 12-year-old girl was found hanging in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent.
On Monday (November 28), at about 17:24, the district police department received a message that a 7th-grade student of school No. 241 ‘committed suicide by hanging herself on a tree in the courtyard of her house on Oltintepa Street.’
Following preliminary data disclosed by the Yunusabad branch of the forensic medical examination on Tuesday (November 29), the death resulted from ‘mechanical asphyxia caused by squeezing the neck with a noose.’
Currently, the Mirzo-Ulugbek district prosecutor's office is conducting a pre-investigation probe.
