After a sharp growth, sales in the real estate market decreased slightly in September, the Center for Economic Research and Reforms informs.

Experts explained the main reason for the decrease in sales as the beginning of the academic year and the increase in demand for housing rent due to the significant influx of foreign citizens.
The number of real estate sales contracts registered in Uzbekistan in September 2022 increased by 19% (+3,700) compared to the same period of the last year.
The highest growth rates were recorded in Karakalpakstan(50%), Syrdarya(42%), Jizzakh(39%), and Namangan(50%).
