At the 71st session of the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies, a decision was made to limit the speed of vehicles to 60 kilometers per hour on all streets located within the capital's Small Ring Road.

According to the Telegram channel "Davletovuz", the speed of vehicles on some streets is limited to 50 kilometers per hour. These include parts of Alisher Navoi, Makhtumkuli, Amir Temur, Small Ring Road, Islam Karimov, Taras Shevchenko, Babur and Furqat streets and Amir Temur Avenue roundabout.

As long as this measure has its effect, the speed will be reduced in the future on all streets in the city.
MPs have proposed to study the issue in more detail and, if necessary, to involve relevant specialists in order to further reduce the speed.
