The Central Banks of Uzbekistan has allocated over 317 billion soums of preferential educational loans for 27,897 students for the 2022-2023 academic year. Shahrukh Egamnazarov, the deputy head of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan (CBU), informs.
It is noted that 242 billion soums or 76 per cent of the loans will be offered to women.
All the commercial banks have introduced the procedure for allocating interest-free educational loans to women in Uzbekistan.
