The acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan noted how important it is to lift restrictions on Afghanistan's financial assets abroad which are worth more than $7 billion.
His speech at the international conference on Afghanistan that is being held in Tashkent has been resonating amid ever-worsening humanitarian situations like drought and coronavirus pandemic that hit hard the Afghan people.
"The removal of restrictions on Afghanistan's financial assets abroad is one of the main factors in restoring the Afghan economy, implementing important infrastructure projects, and solving the acute social problems facing the people of this friendly country today," Vladimir Norov said.
