The Fergana region khokimiyat has initiated to set the Fergana-Kadamjoy-Shahimardon tourist route. Khurshidjon Akhmedov, deputy governor of the region - head of the main department of tourism and cultural heritage, informed us about this during a press tour organized for the media.
The tour package includes 3, 5 and 7-day trips via the villages of Shahimardan and Yordon, as well as to the mountains, forests, and recreation centres of the Qadamjoy district of Kyrgyzstan.
Also, Uzbek and Kyrgyz tour operators have jointly developed two-day tourist routes in the Kadamjoy-Kyzilbulok-Shahimardon-Dugoba-Kokkol direction. In the near future, a group of tourists will start travelling along this route.
Khurshidjon Ahmedov said that it is slated to attract more than 1 million local and 300 foreign visitors, compared to nearly 600,000 domestic and 75,000 foreign tourists in 2021.
