Xaykudagi to‘g‘on 8-mart kuni buzilgan. Uzoq davom etgan sel vaziyatni yanada og‘irlashtirgan. Daryo bo‘yida yashaydigan mahalliy aholiga boshqa yerga ko‘chish tavsiya qilingan.
Toshqin oqibatida uylar va daryoning ko‘priklari vayron bo‘lgan. Shuningdek, 1300 ga yaqin xonadon elektr ta’minotidan uzilib qolgan.
Mahalliy aholi oxirgi 40 yil ichida bunday kuchli suv toshqini kuzatilmaganini ta’kidlamoqda. Odamlar 15 daqiqa ichida butun boshli ko‘chaning suv ostida qolganiga guvoh bo‘lgan.
