Uzbekistan will introduce a new system from 2026 allowing entrepreneurs to launch businesses in just 15 minutes. The initiative was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on August 20 during an open dialogue with business representatives in New Tashkent.

Under the “Starting a Business in 15 Minutes” principle, several key services will be integrated into a single registration process.
Entrepreneurs will automatically receive an electronic digital signature, open a bank account, and, if needed, finalize a lease agreement. Additionally, cash registers will be registered with tax authorities, and notifications will be sent to the relevant state bodies.

Currently, these procedures take up to one week to complete. The reform aims to cut this timeframe to just 15 minutes, significantly easing the process of starting a business in the country.
President Mirziyoyev emphasized that this measure is part of broader reforms to create a more favorable business environment and support entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan.
Earlier, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated that New Tashkent will always be open to entrepreneurs, calling it a symbol of reforms and development. He said the city will become a hub for new opportunities, ideas, and markets, with modern green infrastructure driving innovation and entrepreneurship.
