Uzbekistan's cargo airline My Freighter has entered into an interline agreement with American Airlines, enhancing connectivity between Central Asia, Europe, and North America. The agreement, effective August 1, allows My Freighter to utilize American Airlines' network to transport cargo from Europe to major U.S. cities, including New York (JFK), Philadelphia (PHL), Dallas (DFW), Charlotte (CLT), and Houston (IAH). Additionally, it covers European destinations such as Amsterdam (AMS), London (LHR), Paris (CDG), Madrid (MAD), and Munich (MUC).
Through this partnership, American Airlines gains access to My Freighter’s flights from Tashkent to various destinations across Central Asia, along with its ground trucking network. This collaboration is designed to streamline cargo operations between North America and Central Asia, providing broader access to these markets.
The airline currently operates a fleet of five Boeing 767-300BCF cargo aircraft, with services connecting Uzbekistan to European hubs, including Liège (LGG), Ostrava (OSR), Budapest (BUD), and Leipzig (LEJ).
Earlier, Daryo reported that My Freighter announced plans to invest in new freighters, particularly focusing on the Boeing 777-8F. Mamur Mamadaliev, First Deputy CEO and CCO highlighted this strategy in an interview with STAT Media Group at the Air Cargo China 2024 event in Shanghai.
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Tashkent, My Freighter has rapidly expanded its operations within Uzbekistan and Central Asia, specializing in charter air cargo services. The airline's strategic vision includes establishing a "Modern Silk Road," facilitating air cargo connections from China to Europe through Central Asia.
