The Indonesian Embassy in Uzbekistan has announced the passing of Sunaryo Kartadinata, the Indonesian Ambassador to Uzbekistan, on June 13 in Tashkent.
Born in 1950, Sunaryo Kartadinata was 74 years old at the time of his death. His career in diplomacy was marked by his contributions to strengthening Indonesian-Uzbek relations since his appointment in 2019.
In addition to his role in Uzbekistan, Kartadinata also served as the Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan.
Kartadinata was a distinguished academic, holding a master's degree in medical sciences and serving as a professor. His expertise and dedication earned him respect and recognition both within Indonesia and internationally.
The embassy has not disclosed the cause of Ambassador Kartadinata's death.
