The World Chess Federation updated its ratings for the end of May. In this latest update, three Uzbek grandmasters are ranked among the top 100 players globally.
- Nodirbek Abdusattorov remains in 5th place, retaining his position from the previous month.
- Javokhir Sindarov has dropped to 60th place, down from 50th in the May rankings.
- Rustam Kasimdzhanov entered the rankings at 43rd place.
Nodirbek Yakubboev, who was in 72nd place last month, has fallen out of the top 100.
In the official youth rankings, Nodirbek Abdusattorov is ranked No. 1. Another compatriot, Javokhir Sindarov, moved up to 6th place from 8th place in May.
Additionally, the 2024 Superbet Rapid & Blitz Poland tournament held in Warsaw, Poland, has concluded. Grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov participated and finished in 6th place.
Earlier, Nodirbek Abdusattorov won the TePe Sigeman & Co Chess Tournament 2024 held in Malmo, Sweden.
