In 1Q24, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover with France reached $337.1 mn, a 63% increase compared to $206.8 mn in 2023, the State Statistics Agency reports. The country's trade turnover with France totalled $984.7 mn in 2023. This marks a 190% increase compared to $339.5 mn in 2022.

From January 2019 through December 2023, the total trade turnover between the two countries was $2.1 bn. Uzbekistan's exports to France amounted to $775.6 mn, while imports reached $1.3 bn. France ranked sixth among the countries with the largest volume of foreign trade turnover in Uzbekistan.
Earlier, Daryo reported that in 4M24, Uzbekistan’s exports reached $8.4 bn, a 9% increase y/y. However, overall export performance fluctuated over the past two years, with total exports dropping by 25.85% from 2022 to 2023, and then increasing by 6.10% from 2023 to 2024, leading to an overall decline of 21.36% from 2022 to 2024.
