The world’s number one female media brand ELLE is ready to make its entry into the Uzbek market launching its website and social media in June and its magazine in September 2024.
Boasting 45 ELLE editions worldwide with an international network of more than 32mn readers globally and more than 90mn unique visitors per month and a total audience of more than 200mn including their social networks. ELLE says that it aims to strengthen its position as one of the largest international women’s fashion, luxury and lifestyle media brands in Central Asia. This launch is in partnership between ELLE owner Lagardère Group and Gemina Publishing.
ELLE O'zbekiston will be the first international publication to produce content in Uzbek. The brand has launched its recruitment drive for editors, journalists, digital managers, SMM managers and other staff who will be responsible for developing and localizing content, fostering and building collaborations and engaging with readers. The content will be published in Uzbek, Russian and English. Apart from focusing on fashion, lifestyle and culture, the goals of this project is to support local talent and empower women across the nation.
Lagardère Group was established in 1992 and owns ELLE & ELLE Decoration brands with operations in over 40 countries with 31,300 employees, generating €8.081 billion in revenue in 2023. Gemina Publishing, a subsidiary of Gemina Corp. was founded in London in 2022 by Natasha Kasatkina a fashion expert and professional model, and Oleg Drobot, an entrepreneur, digital transformation specialist and talent producer with the aim to support and develop fashion and music talent globally.
