DOMiNO Ventures' BetterFuture AI Acceleration Program has reached a milestone with the announcement of the 10 startups selected to participate in its latest cohort. Following a rigorous evaluation process, these startups have emerged as promising contenders set to undergo an intensive 8-week program commencing on April 25, 2024.
The program, aimed at fostering innovation and development in the tech ecosystem of Central Asia and the Caucasus, offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to empower AI startups in the region. Through a blend of technical, business, and leadership training, entrepreneurs will gain the essential skills required for global competitiveness and success in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
The selected startups represent a diverse range of industries and hail from various countries in the region, including Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan. Here are the 10 startups chosen to participate:
Elara Technologies: Specializing in AI-assisted wealth management, Elara simplifies operations, enhances client engagement, and accelerates lead generation.
Arrival: Developing innovative software solutions for creating immersive 3D virtual spaces effortlessly.
Aldente AI: Offers an AI-powered video analytic platform enabling businesses to derive actionable insights from video camera feeds using natural language.
ZebraEye: Co-founded by Yana Ten from Kazakhstan, provides AI-powered software for diagnosing rare eye conditions that are challenging to detect.
Unitlab Inc.: Offers a collaborative and AI-powered Data Annotation Platform for on-premises solutions and integrated labeling services.
Acro: A no-code solution for aligning ads with personalized landing pages through integration with Google Search Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
Enji.ai: Oleg Puzanov's startup from Kyrgyzstan, enhances transparency and productivity for software engineers by analyzing work results and generating insights.
Kale: A platform for preventing mental health issues among employees by connecting them with specialists such as psychologists and health coaches.
Pleep: Offers a no-code AI-powered application builder.
STEMIO: An inventive startup based in Uzbekistan, Central Asia, is focused on revolutionizing STEM education. STEMIO develops an AI-driven online learning platform for students in schools, integrating innovative teaching methods, psychological assistance, and career guidance. Their goal is to nurture the next generation of skilled professionals and deliver high-quality education to 2 mn students annually.
Supported by prestigious academic institutions like Westminster International University in Tashkent and industry partners including the Creative Business Network and ABB Innovation Bank, the program offers tailored support reflective of regional dynamics. Local insights are provided by partners such as IT Park Astana Hub and SABAH HUB.
Participating startups will have the opportunity to access investment and a wide network of investors interested in the innovative potential of Central Asia and the Caucasus. Graduates will join an alumni network, providing ongoing support and opportunities for growth.
