Uzbekistan's Criminal Code and Administrative Liability Code will undergo significant amendments starting from April 20, the National Agency of Perspective Projects (NAPP) reports. These revisions notably strengthen measures to address illicit turnover of crypto-assets and unauthorized mining activities.
In response to these changes, citizens are urged to strictly adhere to legal procedures when engaging in crypto-asset transactions. The Agency emphasizes the use of authorized national service providers for such transactions and advises miners to operate within the bounds of existing legislation.
The Agency pledges to promptly report any violations of crypto-asset turnover laws to law enforcement. Those found guilty will face appropriate legal consequences following established procedures. Strict compliance with regulations governing crypto-asset turnover is paramount, as failure to do so may lead to severe legal ramifications.
