The Chairman of the People's Council (Halk Maslahaty) of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has met in Ashgabat with the head of Ronesans Holding (Turkey), Erman Ilıcak, the newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan reports.
During the meeting it was said that efforts were being made in the country to carry out work within the fourth stage of development of the large Galkynysh gas field. "Colossal opportunities are opening up here for the implementation of large joint projects".
Berdimuhamedov also noted that Turkish businessmen can participate in the implementation of projects within the framework of the development of the chemical industry and the second phase of the construction of the new city of Arkadag.
In recent years, Rönesans has implemented a number of major projects in the local market, including the construction of a gas turbine power plant, a urea plant and a synthetic gasoline complex in cooperation with Japanese companies.
The construction holding has also built a number of buildings in the Turkmen capital: Ministry of Construction, Oil and Gas University and hotels.
