The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has recognized the contributions of Takhmina Turdaliyeva, an accomplished architect from Uzbekistan, by including her in a publication featuring 100 leading women architects worldwide. The book is set to be unveiled on January 23 in the United Kingdom.
Notable projects
Turdaliyeva’s architectural prowess is evident in her diverse portfolio of projects. Notably, she has designed the building for the Anti-Corruption Agency and led the reconstruction of the summer courtyard at the Center for Contemporary Art. Both of these facilities are situated in Uzbekistan.
In addition to these, Turdaliyeva has also been recognized for her innovative project “Yoshlar saroyi” ("Palace of Youth") at the international architecture competition, Turkistan Architect Awards.
Educational background and achievements
Turdaliyeva’s journey in architecture began at the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction, where she completed her graduate studies. Her academic excellence was acknowledged when she became a laureate of the scholarship of the President of Uzbekistan.

Beyond her achievements, Turdaliyeva has made significant contributions to architecture through her entrepreneurial venture, TT Design Laboratory. As the founder of this architectural company, she continues to shape the architectural landscape with her innovative designs.
