The National Federation of Electronic Sports of Turkmenistan says it will hold the country's first ever Student Cup on cybersports from 15 to 21 March 2024.
"This will provide a unique opportunity for students of higher and secondary specialised educational institutions of Turkmenistan to prove themselves in the cybersports arena."
The competition will be held in two disciplines: Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA), represented by Dota2, and Counter Strike 2.
The national federation was registered in 2018 and is a member of the International Esports Federation, the Global Esports Federation and the Asian Esports Federation.
