The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, participated in the OSCE 30th Ministerial Council held in Skopje, where he expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and congratulated the OSCE Chairman, Foreign Minister of North Macedonia, Bujar Osmani, and his team on successfully completing the chairpersonship in the Organization in 2023.
Minister Saidov conveyed his appreciation during the summit, emphasizing Uzbekistan's unwavering commitment to active cooperation with the OSCE and its fundamental values. In alignment with the country's dedication to international collaboration, Minister Saidov highlighted how the goals and objectives of the Development Strategy of "Uzbekistan 2030," as outlined by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, resonate with the commitments made across all three dimensions of the OSCE.
In a statement posted on his Telegram channel, Minister Saidov expressed his satisfaction with attending the OSCE 30th Ministerial Council in Skopje. He conveyed his sincere gratitude to OSCE Chairman Bujar Osmani for the warm welcome and congratulated him and his team on their successful chairpersonship in 2023.
"Uzbekistan remains steadfast in its commitment to active cooperation with the OSCE and the values it represents. The goals and objectives of the Development Strategy of 'Uzbekistan 2030,' put forth by the President of Uzbekistan H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, align with the country’s commitments in all three dimensions of the OSCE," Minister Saidov stated.
