The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, embarked on a diplomatic mission on November 17 as he arrived at the Imperial Palace in the heart of Tokyo. The purpose of his visit is to engage in high-level talks with Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan.
Upon the arrival of President Japarov and First Lady Aigul Japarova, they were warmly greeted by Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako at the entrance to the Imperial Palace. The diplomatic entourage then proceeded to the negotiation room for discussions.
The official visit began with the Head of State's plane landing at Haneda International Airport. The airport welcomed President Japarov with the flags of Kyrgyzstan and Japan flying high on the flagpoles, accompanied by an impressive honor guard.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Kiyoto Tsuji, and other high-ranking officials were present to extend a warm welcome to President Japarov.
During the course of his visit, President Japarov is scheduled to engage in a series of bilateral meetings and negotiations at the highest levels. These discussions will involve key representatives from leading Japanese companies, focusing on current issues related to the development and expansion of Kyrgyz-Japanese cooperation.
Accompanying President Japarov in the official delegation are several notable figures from the Kyrgyz Republic, including First Lady Aigul Japarova, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Japan, Erkinbek Osoev.
Other members of the delegation include Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Talaibek Masabirov, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Ulan Primov, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Azizbek Tursunbaev, Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, Minister of Finance Almaz Baketaev, Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev, and Minister of Justice Ayaz Bayetov.
Earlier Daryo reported that President Japarov is expected to hold crucial meetings with Emperor Naruhito, Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida, Speaker of Parliament Fukushiro Nukaga, and other prominent figures in Japanese politics. Additionally, discussions are planned with leaders of influential Japanese organizations such as ROTOBO - Association of Japanese Businesses, JATA - Japan Association of Tour Operators, JBIC - Japanese Exim Bank, JETRO - Japan External Trade Development Association, JICA - Japan International Cooperation Agency, among others.
