The Ministry of Defense team from Uzbekistan has made a significant mark by achieving the highest results in an inaugural international scientific-combat training competition hosted in South Korea, Ministry of Defense's press service reports.
The competition involved teams acting as opposing forces engaged in practical exercises within urban and mountain terrains, designed to closely simulate real combat scenarios. Notably, it drew the participation of elite teams from leading nations across the world.
In a total of 12 "battles" conducted following NATO standards, the Uzbek military team secured first place with an impressive 10 victories. The second position was shared by teams from the United States and the Republic of Korea, each achieving four victories.
The report highlights the remarkable performance of the Ministry of Defense team from Uzbekistan during the competition. They demonstrated courage, a strong drive for victory, a high level of professional and mental readiness, and exceptional team cohesion, all of which are attributed to well-organized and structured training.
To celebrate this outstanding accomplishment, the soldiers were warmly received at Tashkent International Airport on October 28.
