Following the successful release of her No. 1 sophomore album, GUTS, and the announcement of her upcoming tour, Olivia Rodrigo is offering fans an opportunity to enjoy music the way she does, Billboard reports.
The "Vampire" singer has teamed up with Sony to launch her limited-edition LinkBud S noise-canceling headphones, as revealed on September 26. Olivia Rodrigo x LinkBuds S boasts two custom equalizers meticulously tuned by Rodrigo and her producer Daniel Nigro. These headphones are priced at $199 and can be pre-ordered through Sony.com and authorized retailers.
Olivia shared her excitement about the collaboration, stating, "With these earbuds I designed with Sony, fans can experience music the way I do."
For her partnership with Sony, Rodrigo emphasized the use of sustainable materials. These eco-friendly earbuds are crafted from factory-recovered plastic, repurposed water bottles, and recycled plastic components from automobile parts, which have been integrated into the case and body of the headphones. The recycled materials lend a distinct violet marble pattern to each pair.
The Olivia Rodrigo x LinkBuds S collaboration is part of Sony's new "For the Music" campaign. Olivia had previously worked with Apple to shoot her "Get Him Back" music video using an iPhone 15 and has released sold-out collections with Glossier and Casetify.
Jordy Freed, Director of Brand and Business Development at Sony Corp. of America's Personal Entertainment Business, shared, "This collaboration between Olivia Rodrigo and Sony is focused on engaging Olivia’s fanbase and releasing a product that provides a truly unique listening experience for her music. This is the first time we have worked with an artist to this extent of product creation, and we can't wait for fans to be able to 'listen like Olivia.'"
