The stewardess who tragically lost her life in the plane crash involving the founder of the PMC "Wagner," Yevgeny Prigozhin, has been laid to rest in Kazakhstan, as reported by "Baigy News" Elena Abramenkova, the aunt of the deceased, shared this information with the editorial team. According to her, the mother of the deceased resides in Kazakhstan, and the funeral took place in the city of Rudny, Kostanay Region.
"Elena and the coffin were brought there, and she buried the young woman. Her mother told me that customs held them up for three hours, unable to let them through," Abramenkova mentioned.
The aunt of the deceased also revealed that, to confirm her niece's identity, Kristina Raspopova's brother underwent a DNA test. It is worth noting that shortly before the tragedy, Kristina informed her family that their flight was being delayed, suggesting that the aircraft was undergoing maintenance or urgent repairs.
As a reminder, news of the founder of the private military company "Wagner," Yevgeny Prigozhin, perishing in an aviation accident in the Tver Region, emerged on the evening of August 23. At the crash site of the Embraer Legacy 600 aircraft owned by Prigozhin, the bodies of all ten individuals onboard were discovered.
