The latest episode of "Daryo Talks," an interview series with expats and foreign entrepreneurs in Central Asia, hosted Eleanor Kramers, who runs the Tashkent branch of Montfort Communications. Kramers, an international PR expert, has worked with significant global entities and founded the Emerging Markets Group at PR & Communications Association.
During the talk, Kramers stressed the importance of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and transparency for Central Asian companies, particularly in Uzbekistan, aspiring to go global.
She emphasized that proper articulation of ESG agendas is vital to attracting the right international investors, saying, "Companies must effectively articulate their ESG agendas to attract the right kind of international investors."
Kramers further highlighted the tremendous potential in Uzbekistan's human capital and growth opportunities for companies seeking international expansion.
She noted the critical role of ESG and transparency, stating, "There are huge opportunities for international companies to help Uzbek businesses go global as the country opens up its business environment."
