Five children of Cavaliere divided his multibillion-dollar fortune. Marina and Pier Silvio Berlusconi acquired a controlling stake in Fininvest.
Marina and Pier Silvio Berlusconi gained control over the family holding company, Fininvest. They were specifically involved in managing the business empire during their father's lifetime.
According to the publicly disclosed will of the former prime minister, who passed away on June 12, the share of the eldest children now amounts to 53%. Previously, each of them owned slightly over 7.5% of the shares. The rest will be divided among the three younger heirs: Barbara, Eleonora, and Luigi.
The total estate of the late politician and media mogul, including real estate and art objects, amounts to approximately €6bn. The eldest heirs received 60% of the assets.
Italian media reports that the handwritten letter attached to the will did not include the name of the youngest son, which does not deprive him of his inheritance rights.

His brother Paolo and Marta Fascina, the former prime minister's last companion who was more than half a century younger than him, are entitled to €100mn each.
An additional €30mn will be allocated to Marcello Dell'Utri, a close friend and associate of Berlusconi, who was convicted of connections with the mafia.
