The SQB Math Olympiad - 2023 was organized in accordance with the decree issued by the President of Uzbekistan on May 7, 2020, aiming to support mathematics education, foster banking participation in science-related projects, identify talented young individuals and provide them with both financial and intellectual motivation.
The qualifying stage of the Olympiad was held on April 29 of this year, with 403 participants advancing to the final round.
During the final stage, held at the Mathematics Faculty of the National University of Uzbekistan, participants tackled 10 problem questions (3 points), 10 critical thinking questions (3.1 points), and 10 IQ questions (3.9 points).
The results were determined individually among students and bank employees. Four participants (including 2 students) were awarded the 1st place, eight participants (including 5 students) secured the 2nd place, and twelve participants (including 7 students) achieved the 3rd place.
All the winners received cash prizes of around $500, $400, and $300 respectively.

During the awards ceremony, the participants were presented with this book. It is important to note that the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with the V.I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics and the HISO School, provided significant support for the organization of the SQB Math Olympiad - 2023.
