The Uzbekistan-China business forum held in Xi'an showcased the growing interest of over 400 major Chinese companies in establishing cooperation with Uzbekistan. The forum highlighted the positive changes in Uzbekistan's business landscape and the Minister of Transport emphasized the benefits already being felt by the people.
Chinese companies have been actively involved in the construction of highways and discussions are underway for the production of train cars. The need for freight cars led to a partnership with a large Chinese company in Uzbekistan for their production.
BGI Genomics, represented by CEO Jun Cheng, expressed their plans for cooperation in upgrading medical equipment at the screening center in Syrdarya.
The event concluded with the signing of approximately 20 bilateral agreements across diverse sectors including energy, chemistry, metallurgy, light industry, geology, transport, agriculture, education, science, digital technologies, automobile industry, electrical engineering, pharmaceuticals, and tourism.
