A soldier was hurt on May 10 as a result of an Armenian fire, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense reports.
The wounded man was shot in the head and is currently receiving treatment at a military hospital. According to the Ministry, the Armenian military started shooting once again on May 11 with large-caliber weapons and explosives.
On May 14, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia and President Ilhom Aliyev of Azerbaijan will have a conversation in Brussels to negotiate a peace accord brokered by the leader of the European Council, Charles Michel. Following the conference, talks will take place in Chisinau.
Yet, the Armenian Ministry of Defense has rejected claims of Armenian forces starting shooting and injuring one Azerbaijani soldier, labeling them "disinformation."
Earlier in May, Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry blamed Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for failing to learn history after Pashinyan accused Azerbaijan of ethnic cleansing during a press conference in the Czech Republic.
