The Anthology of Central Asian Poetry will be presented at one of the largest book fairs in the world which has kicked off in Leipzig, Germany.
The Goethe-Institut’s initiative in Kazakhstan has brought a collection that includes works by young poets and poets from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. The uniqueness of the publication is that the authors were translated directly from their native language into the language of Goethe, and will now be presented to the general public in Europe.

- The project coordinators have already translated our works. Now we are in the Berlin Poetry House and are taking part in the recording of an audio podcast. Our poems will be published in the online magazine of the House of Poetry. Today, more than 2,000 authors from all over the world are represented on this large site. I consider this project very important for my work.
Meetings, award ceremonies and, most importantly, publishers will present new books within three days of the event.
