Kazakhstan's portal published an article on Uzbekistan's flora and fauna, Dunyo reports. In particular, the publication covers information on Tashkent Zoo and its inhabitants, as well as the Botanical Garden in the capital. Reportedly, Tashkent Zoo was established in 1924 at the initiative of zoologists at Central Asian University. Subsequently, it participated directly in establishing a network of zoos in neighboring Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan.
'Tashkent is already today becoming the most accessible and, at the same time, fascinating 'abroad' for a mass Kazakh tourist. Like the zoo, we described in detail in the previous article, the Tashkent Botanical Garden is one of the major attractions of this southern metropolis. And perhaps one of the best urban gardens for plants throughout the post-Soviet area', the publication reads.
Media writes that the Tashkent Botanical Garden is convenient everywhere because of a good network of roads, paths, furnished paths, and signs. A bench is always in good condition in the farthest corner of the territory, which covers tens of hectares. Well-being extends to the whole garden, not only to its central part and the entrance group as it became 'fashionable.'
'On the territory of the Botanical Garden, there are artificial ponds, and the water coming from the Akkurgan Canal, thanks to the convenient location of the garden and successful hydro-technical solutions, flows to plant gravity. Media reports that this has a beneficial effect on the conservation and growth of the flora grown here.
