The volume of trade between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan is expected to reach 2 billion dollars, the Dunyo agency reports.
The embassy of Uzbekistan in Bishkek and the diplomatic academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan organized a roundtable discussion dedicated to the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the countries.
Currently, Bishkek aims to increase the volume of mutual trade to 2bn dollars considering the mining and coal industry, industrial cooperation, agricultural processing, energy, construction, and car manufacturing as the prime cooperation spheres.
For that, the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan Development Fund may become an effective platform for expanding business relations by opening trading houses in the capitals of the neighboring states.
