US Ambassador to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick congratulated all the residents of Uzbekistan on the occasion of Navruz at the event in the New Uzbekistan National Park in Tashkent, Dunyo reports.
‘It is a great honor to participate in this event today. I am thrilled to celebrate this wonderful holiday with the people of Uzbekistan. This holiday is a symbol of generosity and inclusion for all of us. The fact that representatives of different nationalities and peoples perform on the same stage and sing songs in diverse languages proves the tolerance inherent in the Uzbek people. I am thrilled to welcome the wonderful holiday of Navruz in your multinational, hospitable country, which is always open to foreigners', the US Ambassador said.
