"Rosatom" Corporation will send specialists to Uzbekistan to assist in the modernization of the country’s capital’s power grid. Bakhtiyor Rahmonov, acting mayor of Tashkent, announced during the meeting with the director of Rosatom's Energy Efficiency and Infrastructure Solutions Project Bureau, Yuriy Mishin.
Rahmonov had touched upon the situation in the capital's electricity system before Mishin emphasized that the system needs modern technologies and bilateral cooperation for the achievement of better results.
In July 2018, the company "Atomenergoprom" (part of the state corporation "Rosatom") established the subsidiary "Rosatom - Infrastrukturnye reshenia" which aims at modernizing the infrastructure of cities, including heat, electricity, water supply and clean water.
