'Poland considers Uzbekistan to be the most important and reliable partner in the Central Asian region and highly appreciates the reforms carried out by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, thanks to which the Republic already today has a great potential for innovative economy', Deputy of the Lower House of Parliament of Poland Jadwiga Katarzyna Emilewicz said during a meeting with Uzbek Ambassador Bakhrom Babayev, Dunyo reports.
The parties agreed that the two countries have no disputes in the political sphere and the bilateral relations continue to develop in the inter-parliamentary, trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian, and tourist areas.
Jadwiga Katarzyna Emilewicz welcomed the decision to open a direct flight service between Warsaw and Tashkent from March 10, noting that the two countries continue to learn more about each other. It was stressed that to further develop cultural-humanitarian and interregional partnerships it was important to establish fraternal relations between the cities of Uzbekistan and Poland.
The Polish MP expressed readiness to participate with a report in the 2nd Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be held on April 19-20.
