The District Prosecutor's Office of the Fergana region on January 16 reported that an illegal mining farm was discovered in the computer repair shop in one of the districts. Its owner illegally connected 179 mining devices to Antminer and allegedly used 794,700 kilowatt-hours of electric power worth nearly 1.8bn UZS.
Besides, a preliminary investigation is carried out in Kokand. The unauthorized activity was allegedly detected in a refrigerator repair shop, which connected 6 mining devices to Antminer. The illegal use of 126,100 kilowatt-hours of electricity has resulted in damage amounting to 283.8mn UZS.
The investigation is underway.
