Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) electric company announced that the supply of electricity from Uzbekistan has stopped. This was reported by Etilaatroz telegram channel.
According to the power supplier, the 220-kilowatt electricity transmission lines exported from Uzbekistan were disconnected for technical reasons. The company was able to connect to the power grid imported from Turkmenistan to Kabul due to a malfunction. Breshna noted that technical staff and the Uzbek side are trying to solve the problem.
Uzbekistan provides electricity to Kabul and Parvan, Kapisa, Panjsher, Nangarhar, Lagmon, Logar, Pakti, Khost, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni and Baghlan regions of Afghanistan.
