The State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has demanded fiscalization of all payments, such as on-the-spot, QR-code, and Telegram channels payment methods. "Davletovuz" Telegram channel reports.
Starting from November 1, Payme, Click, and Apelsin have been forced to stop providing the above payment methods.
Now it will be possible to pay only for goods and services purchased by cash and card, the Committee letter reads.
Payme online payment service provider:
“At the moment, large-scale work is being carried out in the Republic to improve the settlement procedure in the field of retail trade and service provision, that is, to fiscalize all payments.
From November 1, 2022, the scheme of cooperation between online cash registers, payment organizations, and fiscal data operators approved by the State Tax Committee will come into force, and deviations from the scheme of cooperation approved by tax authorities will lead to the application of sanctions.”
Apelsin noted that payments on the spot, payment via QR code, and payments on Telegram channels are temporarily unavailable from November 1 of this year, and used the hashtag #bizaybdoremasmiz.
