Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Vladimir Putin signed a declaration on a comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia, the press service of the Uzbek president reports.
This declaration indicates the beginning of a new stage in the development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia.
In particular, it is planned to develop cooperation in political, trade-economic, atomic energy, transport, cultural-humanitarian and other fields based on specific directions.
In general, more than 350 documents have formed the contractual and legal basis of Uzbek-Russian relations.
It is noted that the ceremony was held at the end of the effective negotiations in Samarkand.
