The Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan and the In In-Service Training Centre for Journalists hold an “Oltin Qalam” National Award to promote the highest achievements of national and international journalism, to create conditions for media workers to express their civic positions and to form new approaches to critical observation and creative activity.
Each year on May 3 – on the World Press Freedom Day, the committee awards the materials published in newspapers and magazines, broadcast on television and broadcast television and in online publications.
