On September 19, mirroring his engagement last year, President Japarov will take the stage on the first day of the General Debates of the UN General Assembly. His speech is anticipated to shed light on Kyrgyzstan's perspective on the global challenges and opportunities facing the international community.
In a momentous diplomatic encounter, President Japarov is set to attend the first-ever summit of Central Asian leaders, alongside the President of the United States, Joe Biden, on the same day. This meeting is poised to foster cooperation and address regional issues of mutual concern.
Throughout his visit to New York, President Japarov will hold crucial meetings with prominent figures on the global stage, including UN Secretary-General António Guterres and UN Development Programme Administrator Achim Steiner. Additionally, he will engage in discussions with heads of several foreign countries and international financial institutions, reinforcing Kyrgyzstan's commitment to international collaboration and diplomacy.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams was among the dignitaries who extended their greetings. Carolyn Lemm, Chairwoman of the U.S.-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, and other officials were also present to receive the high-ranking guest.
